Halloween in the South

I flew with the boys for a nice long trip to the South for Halloween. I love fall in South Carolina. I especially love Halloween. There is something so fun about dressing up and candy and all the yummy fall treats and foods. We made sure to fully celebrate Cory's favorite holiday.
We had a Halloween party for the kids at Grandma and Papa Whitesell's house.

 Spooky Sticker Portraits
Next party was the church's trunk or treat. Cory has looked forward to this event for the past 364 days.

 I love my Mama Jo!
This picture is a bit blurry, but it shows how happy Cory was.

Lainee and Allison (notice Mason is double fisting the suckers)
I just adore my daddy. He had finished his chemo treatments right before our visit, but was still dealing with the symptoms. He wasn't feeling great but was a champ and came anyway.
I love my pirate and parrot boys!

Final stop on the Halloween party train...... Grandma Great's House for goodies! Aunt Jeanie makes the yummiest stuff. We enjoyed white chocolate bones, caramel popcorn, cookies, caramel apples, and more.

 Beautiful Mama

Being in my Grandma's house always stirs up the good memories of her and my grandpa. This shadowbox display hangs in her living room. It has my Grandpa's football jersey and handwritten plays from his play book in it. His nickname among his teammates was "Whistle Britches". Such a treasure!
