Kevin's 34th Birthday

Kevin and I have had numerous conversations about how we feel like we have aged so much since having kids. It's as if there's some weird aging trigger that gets set off when you become a parent. Anyone else experience this??? Well.... what better way to feel young on your birthday than to take the entire family to Texas Roadhouse and embarrass Kevin by making him sit on a saddle (Having the entire restaurant stare at you is fun right?) We finished the day off with some chocolate cake (Kevin's favorite) and BYU Creamery ice cream.

Burn Bones.....BURN!

Kevin and I were so tired of seeing Cory run around in his bones pajamas. He's had them for a year and probably worn them 300 of the last 365 days. (Gross... we know.) The holes had been sewn up by his grandma, and "bones" were so thin that you could practically see through them. One day, Kevin asked Cory if he wanted to burn them. There's only one thing Cory loves more than his "bones", and that is burning stuff. The pictures speak for themselves!

September Memories

Just watching some cartoons, eating a carrot and wearing his bones pajamas.

After my first kid-less, outside run. I was sore for 3 days but so happy.

Cory and Jackson are becoming quite the little buddies!

Have I mentioned that he sleeps through the night!?

Creepy picture of Kev and Cory demonstrating how they hiked back from their Sat morning hike.

Watching BYU football

Sumo Baby

If I had a dollar for every time I've heard people ask Mason if his mom is starving him, I'd have like $20. ;)

Labor Day ~ Bridal Veil Falls

We met Papa Bird and Holly’s family (minus Jorge) up Provo Canyon to hike part of the trail by Bridal Veil Falls. The weather was gorgeous, even a little cool in the shade, and it was a relaxing family outing. Our little family of 4 stayed and had a picnic lunch together by the river, and we were all ready for naps by the time we got home.

Seriously the happiest baby ever

Seven Peaks Water Park

We had a lot of fun going to Seven Peaks this summer. Cory learned to get splashed in the face (without getting upset) and learned how to go down the kiddie slide all by himself. He's been practicing putting his face under the water and is showing interest in learning to swim like the big kids.

Thumb Sucker

Mason discovered his thumb and anytime he’s on his tummy, he pops it in his mouth and goes to sleep. Sometimes when Kevin and I are in bed, we’ll hear him in the next room sucking loudly on his thumb. We’re not looking forward to the orthodontic bill down the road, but it sure is sweet now.
